I signed into my email account this morning and opened a notification from Facebook. My sister had tagged a photo of me in a new album called “Inspired by Faith Dwight,” created by my dad’s friend, Dave.
Dave owns a successful sound and lighting company and lives in South Carolina with his awesome wife Heidi, and their three international kids: Sarah and Alden from China, and Zion from Ethiopia. I think this family’s pretty cool, so I got excited.
“Wow,” I thought. ”Maybe they read something on my blog about hospitality and they’ve posted photos of a meal they cooked for visitors. Or something about giving, and they’ve posted photos of a child they’re sponsoring through World Vision.”
So I clicked on the link, and saw this:
