I’m from the sticks of North Carolina. I have a serious twang and a penchant for bluegrass music. I also hate bugs and being in the middle of nowhere.
I used to be a big-time magazine editor. Now I’m a wife and a mama, a writer and photographer.
I ain’t rich, but I’s happy.
Mmm. This good-lookin’ man is my husband, Simon. He hails from England, where he grew up eating Marmite and dancing to “the Hokey Cokey.”
He works with the homeless and loves sound.
We got married in 2007, and then came…
Adlai. Pronounced “Add-lie.” Two syllables, long i.
He was born in November 2010.
He likes dinosaurs and Darth Vader, and he can probably eat more pancakes than you.
We like him alright, I guess.
Two-and-a-half years later, Koa was born.
His name means “joy”. I’d say that’s about right.
We live just north of London, but sometimes we say London to sound cooler.
