Dirty Laundry

I’ve been married to Simon for nearly three years, and this morning I had to teach him how to separate whites from colors.

  1. I’ve been living with my flatmate for two years, and I recently taught him how to turn the dishwasher on. Though I have to admit I still don’t know how the French fries (erroneously called French, as they are Belgian) machine works. I guess it’s just a question of priorities… :-)

  2. that’s hilarious. when i was an invalid after giving birth, my dad and my husband had the darndest time figuring out the dryer. being the men they were, they refused to ask for help. it was entertaining to me because we’ve been married almost 7 years!

  3. Husbands don’t sort colors for environmental reasons. Whereas others, like you, waste water and soap, we throw everything together in one load. Thus, we husbands are green…and our clothes are pinkish-grayish.

You have to give him a little credit for trying!
