I have come to realize that a lot of bad decisions, and mistakes that we make in life are based on fear.

Lying because we fear that we may get in trouble emotionally, psychologically, or physically, if we tell the truth.

Premarital sex because we fear that the person we are with will not love us if we don’t

Not giving our lives to God because we fear that we are leaving behind a whole lot of “enjoyable” sin.

It would be something terrific if we could live our lives in the love of the one who is Love and Light personified. It would be something awesome if we completely yeilded to the call of “cast all your cares upon him, because he cares for you.”

It is something that I strive to do daily, and its hard. However, I know that in my weakness, and yes even in my fear that his strength is made perfect, and this hope is what gets me through each day. Thank you so much for posting this. Its one of those things that a lot of people don’t admit-but think.
