1. All the hype surrounding Michael Phelps. How unfortunate for the other amazingly talented swimmers on the US Olympic team to have come along at the same time as this guy, so that they get absolutely no media coverage.
2. Not so much these Pizza Hut chocolate dunkers, as the commercial advertising them. I’m not sure what I dislike more: the fact that they’re pretending people actually believe these chocolate-covered breadsticks are french pastries, or the smug look on that girl’s face when she pulls off her chef’s coat at the end of the commercial to reveal a Pizza Hut uniform. Please.
3. Urban Outfitters. Why does everyone look so hungry and sad? And why are American girls spending loads of money on clothes the UO folks found at thrift stores? Urban Renewal, my foot.
